Journey Groups

CPC Journey Groups are men's and women's, life-on-life small groups focused on spiritual growth through weekly group meetings. Journey Groups explore topics such as understanding the Bible, spiritual growth, relationships, and life management through interactive discussions.

Journey Groups begin meeting in September and end in May.

Regular Weekly Meetings

Groups meet weekly from September to May in a supportive and confidential environment.

Leadership

Group leaders have been part of a previous Journey group and will help foster camaraderie and openness.

Encouragement

Group members will encourage one another by asking open and powerful questions and by applying the gospel to every life situation. 

The Journey Curriculum

3-year collection of weekly materials to help you prepare for weekly meetings.

Application

Group members will learn to apply the most significant lessons related to spiritual growth, biblical understanding, life management, relationships, and spiritual skills.

Life-on-Life

The most important growth and learning will come from interactions with the leader and members of the Journey Group.

The Journey program (Life On Life - LOL) has been a stabilizing and strengthening force for my spiritual walk over the last few years. One of the focuses of LOL is discipleship, and I have never felt more equipped to do that since joining my Journey group. Another focus, for those that are married at least, is growing the marriage relationship. Both my wife and I can confidently tell you that LOL has absolutely increased our marriage relationship. More importantly, my group is walking alongside me, holding me accountable, and encouraging me in my marriage. The level of commitment amongst the group breeds a sense of Christian brotherhood that is difficult to recreate in other ministry settings. Knowing that a group of men are going to show up for me each week and I for them allows for opportunities for genuine vulnerability and great friendship building.
