why plant churches
Because we long for the grace of Jesus to transform Clemson and our region. We love this place for all that it is, but our hearts break because of the spiritual and physical needs around us. Church planting is a key strategy for seeing our vision come to fruition locally.

PRAY
Pray this work would soon result in a grace-oriented church perfectly suited for Pickens, that in turn plants new churches itself. Pray many will come to faith in Pickens and that Pickens will be far better off in every way because of this church.
GIVE
The church plant will need many partners. Consider how you can support the work being done.
JOIN
Pray about your calling to join the church plant especially if you live in or near Pickens.

Meet the Pastor
Bill Bennett
Bill was born in Georgia but has lived all over the South. He has mainly lived in small towns, and that is one reason he loves planting in small towns. Bill was a paramedic/firefighter before he started full-time ministry work. He is a Covenant College graduate at the age of 38 and graduated with his MDiv from RTS Atlanta. Bill and his wife Jill have six grown kids and one grandbaby. Bill and Jill are excited to be in Pickens for Pickens with the purpose of spreading the Gospel.
