Sunday Volunteer Opportunities
Moving to two services both creates new places to serve, but also provides new people to serve. Below are the places we know we'll have more need and ask you consider where you can plug in. Click the button above or at the bottom of the page to let us know where you're interested in learning more.
VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTIONS
Nursery
Needed: 20
Come serve through care and play! Nursery volunteers care for infants to 5 year olds during one worship service every two months.
CPC Kids Engage
Needed: 10
Lead K5 & first graders in a lesson, game, craft and snack during the sermon. Each rotation is one month long.
Welcome Team
Needed: 20
The Welcome Team provides hospitality and welcome on Sunday mornings through door greeters and Welcome Center desk volunteers.
Coffee Team
Needed: 6
The Coffee Team provides coffee and hot tea on Sundays. They prepare the urns and supplies a day or two ahead of time and then cleanup after worship.
Worship Team
Needed: 7
Help lead worship through singing or playing an instrument. This team works in a rotation.
Projection Team
Needed: 4
Run the slides during one worship service a month.
Ushers
Needed: 8
On Sunday mornings, ushers hand out bulletins, collect the offering, and help people find seats.
Parking Team
Needed: 10
Parking attendants offer a welcoming face to those pulling into the lots on Sunday mornings, safely directing drivers to available spots.
