SUNDAY SCHOOL

Kids will pick up where they left off before the summer with the Dwell curriculum. Classes provide snacks, music, and a lesson that is age-appropriate.


CPC KIDS MIDWEEK
starts August 12 | 6-7:30pm

Midweek is an evening program for elementary kids to experience the word of Jesus during the week. This includes age appropriate lessons, craft, games, and a meal with friends and volunteers willing to serve.
ENGAGE
resumes August 9 during the Worship Service

Kids K5 & 1st grade are invited during the offering to meet their leaders at the Sanctuary doors to go upstairs for a lesson designed just for them. Kids return to the service during the last song.

Students will gather with their peers for a time of fellowship over breakfast and teaching by our Sunday School teachers.
YOUTH GROUP
starts August 16
Middle School: 5:30-7pm | meet in front of the Sanctuary
High School: 7:15-9pm | Sanctuary lobby

Youth Group gives students a place to play, worship, and learn in fellowship with their peers each week in a large group setting.


DGROUPS
Starts Aug 12 | 6-7:30pm | Fellowship Hall

Discipleship groups (dgroups) help students apply the gospel to their lives through gospel-centered discussion, prayer, and intentional relationships. Each group is divided by grade and gender to encourage honesty and connection. Students will eat dinner together then divide into groups with adult leaders.
MOVING UP PARTY
August 15 | 2-4pm | CPC side lawn

We will gather at the beginning of the semester to see and meet old and new friends within our ministry. This will be a time of fun fellowship together to close out the summer and prepare for the fall semester.

This eleven-week study will offer a fresh, gospel-focused perspective on the wisdom given in Proverbs and how to apply it to daily life. We will see how Christ has fulfilled the commands in Proverbs and now gives his power to his followers to walk in his footsteps.

As we look together at the book of Ephesians, we will cover topics like our identity in Christ, how grace works in our lives, the unity of the church, spiritual warfare, walking in a manner worthy of the Lord, and living out our relationships in the Spirit.
When You Pray (Adult Class)

When Jesus' disciples asked Him to teach them to pray, He offered what we call The Lord's Prayer as a response. Scripture offers countless prayer guides for believers today, which we hope to explore throughout this study for their wisdom, depth, and practical application to help strengthen our prayer lives today.
James (Adult Class)
Fellowship Hall

With its intensely practical wisdom, our class will aim to let the Spirit shape our lives to the book of James. We'll take a journey through the epistle, exploring its concrete counsel on endurance, wealth, taming the tongue, favoritism, humility, and faith. James' deep theology woven through punchy exhortations will grow our faith and walk in Christ as we discuss together.

The CPC Life Sunday School class is for adults with disabilities to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in grace, enjoy fellowship, and have opportunities to serve the body. CPC Life deep dives the previous week's sermon through discussion and acting out the message.

Using the Dwell, we will discuss practical ways to apply our faith and split up into small groups for discussion and crafts! 

Small Groups

COMMUNITY GROUPS

CPC Community Groups are small, regular gatherings of roughly 8-12 people, designed to build intentional relationships within the greater, local body of Christ. Groups launch in August and run through May each year.

Community Groups are primarily multi-generational and mixed-gender. They meet at various times and locations throughout the week, in homes or at the church building. Most groups meet weekly, while some meet 2-3 times a month. Each group offers a dynamic blend of fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and service.

JOURNEY GROUPS

CPC Journey Groups are men's and women's, life-on-life small groups focused on spiritual growth through weekly group meetings. Journey Groups explore topics such as understanding the Bible, spiritual growth, relationships, and life management through interactive discussions.

Journey Groups begin meeting in September and end in May.
